Sergei Kalimnick
Sergei Kalimnick is a character in the lore of BATTLEGROUNDS.
Biography
Born and raised on Erangel, Sergei Kalimnick was the sole survivor of a terrible massacre. He knew he had survived for a reason, but would not begin to understand his true purpose until years later. After getting his hands on the security tape that showed Kangjae Ma’s incredible escape, Sergei began turning a massive profit producing and selling other prison riot films, later dubbed The Gulag Tapes.
These tapes brought the attention of a mysterious group of “investors,” that wished for Sergei to produce something far grander. In 1994 Sergei ran the first Battleground on his home island of Erangel. Since that day he has wielded unimaginable power as a high ranking member of this mysterious organization.
