Discussion of deletion of page

One players opinion

i think this page should be taken down, pubg is not a class-based game and new players should not be misguided into thinking that applying this mindset will benefit them - it won't. as a peak rank 150 EU SOLO FPP player i strongly believe this game is defined by it's decision making, this does not exclude ANYTHING the game has to offer. by teaching people to resort to classes or gameplay types it is teaching them to exclude information in the game. I'm keeping this vague because there is so much wrong with the page, but I'll give an example: you're a slow-paced patient player who spends most of the game avoiding combat and typically only ends with a handful of kills if you win, so let's assume you're positioned on the edge of the blue zone in the 7th circle with 6 players left, at the top of a hill where there only way is down without cover - in this instance if you were to walk with a shotgun you are limiting your chance of countering incoming fire that you are forced to fire back upon as there is no cover whereas if you had picked up a rifle you are likely to have a better chance. Unfortunately you spent most of the game inside of the safety of a cluster of houses and were forced out when the 6th blue zone made it's way in and you took the recommendation of this guide and have only a shotgun, a smg and a pistol...

i love teaching and i love using simple rules to teach people who are poor performers of anything to become advanced, but these recommendations are completely wrong and will only hinder players. the load-outs should recommend a way to approach almost every scenario i.e. m16 with x4 scope and red dot scope to alternate for engagements ranged 10 metres - 400 metres and a ump with a red dot and angled grip for 0-20 metre range engagements. you have a way to enter occupied buildings with the ump, a way to pick players off at range with the m16 and every in between using this loadout and both the m16 and ump are VERY beginner-friendly weapons.

  • These classes are meant for late game. Like you said "when the 6th blue zone made it's way in and you took the recommendation of this guide and have only a shotgun, a smg and a pistol..." You would get yourself killed if you only took a shotgun or a SMG that doesn't have a higher caliber to penetrate level 3 armor. In some rare situations, yes, you can win using an SMG. Either when the enemy is horrible or in a CQC fight. These are classes that are meant to be played within the first few circles, then you switch to your normal loadout later on when you come across the loot. Nor you aren't suppose to keep these loadouts late game because the RNG circle can not be in your favor. For example, if you only have long range loadout and then the end circle ends up being in a city. In PUBG it isn't about getting the best loot, it's about being tactical on what loot to pick up and predict the circle and see what loot and attachments you need late game. -- Azgoodaz (talk) 20:41, 20 December 2017 (UTC)

+1. I've always seen this site as a wiki - solely for stating objective facts about items or phenomena in game. There are plenty of guides out there that cover what the "best" loadout is (even though there are none - it's entirely situational and preferential), and I've edited a lot of the articles for the guns and items to make it in line with wikis of other games where some very basic guidelines are mentioned for how something is used or behaves, but otherwise keeping to what the raw data files mention. --Edbods (talk) 03:57, 3 September 2018 (UTC)

Adding New Best Loadout for PLAYERUNKNOWN's BATTLEGROUNDS

I mean like everyone wants to use this loadout because like this loadout covers melee and range

Main - Scar-L with 2times scope, Angled Foregrip (AR, SMG, DMR), Extended QuickDraw Mag for AR, S12K, Flash Hider for AR, S12K, Side - AWM with 8x CQBSS Scope, Extended QuickDraw Mag for Snipers, DMR, Suppressor for Snipers, Cheek Pad (DMR, SR). (M16A4) - I would use M16A4 until I get AWM because AWM is really hard to get, I believe only one way to get it and it is from airdrop. melee - pan Consumable First Aid Kit, Painkillers & Bandage

These pages should definitely be deleted

Even if not for "opinion" the info in them is heavily outdated. The first time I used this wiki and thought they were a joke or troll, and am still surprised they aren't removed. Not only are the load-outs completely based on opinion, they are totally laughable. A shotgun and a revolver? an AWM (with it's best attachment a compensator ofcourse?) with only a pistol to back you up? an M249 and a crossbow? This info really has nothing to do with the game, this game isn't based around "classes" or "loadouts" or anything, and the info in these pages would probably still be misleading and incorrect if it was. No offense to you Azgoodaz, you didn't seem to be trolling when you made yours (I still don't think they should be up) but SandovalCurse's load-outs are an absolute joke.
