The Micro UZI is a submachine gun type weapon in BATTLEGROUNDS. A scaled down version of the original Israeli submachine gun designed by Major Uziel Gal in the early 1950s, first introduced in 1986 and exported to over 90 countries, it still sees active use in various conflicts around the world.[1][2][3] The Micro Uzi has had its stock removed, the magazine shortened, and the barrel reduced to almost pistol length. This results in a more compact, lightweight weapon, with a reduction in accuracy and range.

Summary

Immediately after getting off the plane, everyone is focused on finding equipment. This weapon has a fast rate of fire, so it can wipe out players who are collecting equipment indoors. However, it is difficult to control in long-range combat.

Since the weapon deals the least damage out of all the SMGs, using this weapon during mid- to end-games is usually not recommended because most players will be equipped with better armor and guns. When fully modded with extended mags, a stock and a compensator, this gun becomes quite controllable and can be surprisingly viable in the final stages of the game, although the extremely high rate of fire will burn through ammo quickly if many shots miss.

Spray your ammo but beware to not shoot yourself in the foot.

Trivia

  • The base Uzi originally featured in the game prior to Update 31 was the Micro Uzi, its folding stock appearing as a separate attachment in the game. While it holds 25 rounds in game, the model uses a 20 round magazine, while extended magazines appear to use the 32 round model but hold 35 rounds instead.
